Yo-Yo Loach (Botia almorhae)
Named for the “YOYO” pattern on their sides, Yo-Yo Loaches are active, intelligent bottom-dwellers that enjoy group life and are great for snail control in community tanks.
Size: Up to 5 inches (13 cm)
Tank Size: Minimum 30 gallons
Care Level: Moderate – needs space and stable water
Diet: Omnivore – sinking pellets, frozen/live foods, snails
Aggression Level: Semi-aggressive (social but can be feisty)
Compatibility: Best in groups of 3–5; avoid with very shy or tiny fish
