At The Aquarium Shoppe, we’re all about helping you dive into the world of aquatics — whether you are a first-time fish owner or a lifelong enthusiast. We are located in Springfield, MO, and specialize in freshwater and saltwater fish, aquarium supplies, and everything you need to create a vibrant, healthy underwater ecosystem.

We are proud to be one of the few dedicated fish stores in Springfield, and even prouder to say we’ve been part of this community for over 25 years. While ownership has recently changed, our love for the hobby hasn’t — in fact, it’s only grown. The current owner, an avid aquarist with a passion for aquatic life, took over the shop in 2024 with one goal in mind: to carry on the legacy while bringing fresh energy, knowledge, and care to the store.

What sets us apart? We’re hobbyists first. We understand the joys (and the occasional challenges) of fishkeeping, because we’ve been there ourselves. Our goal is to share that knowledge with you — whether you’re looking to set up your first tank, need help troubleshooting water quality, or want to find the perfect new addition for your aquarium.

We only carry products we trust and use ourselves. But more than that, we’re here to build a community of fish lovers. Our customers aren’t just customers — they’re fellow hobbyists, and often friends.
