Silver Arowana (Osteoglossum bicirrhosum)
The Silver Arowana is a stunning, long-bodied predator known for its graceful swimming and metallic sheen. Native to South America, it’s a surface-dwelling fish that can leap out of tanks—tight lids are a must. Arowanas require a very large tank and experienced care due to their size and carnivorous diet. Best kept solo or with large, non-aggressive tankmates.
