Pygmy Angel (Centropyge spp.)
Pygmy Angelfish are small, colorful marine angels found throughout the Indo-Pacific. Known for their vivid hues and energetic personalities, they are often reef-safe “with caution,” as some may nip at corals. These angelfish are best kept in well-established tanks with plenty of live rock for grazing and hiding.
Size: Up to 3–4 inches (7–10 cm)
Tank Size: Minimum 55 gallons
Care Level: Moderate
Diet: Omnivore – algae, spirulina, mysis shrimp, marine pellets
Aggression Level: Semi-aggressive – can be territorial, especially with similar species
