Hornwort is a feathery, fast-growing stem plant known for its ability to thrive in almost any aquarium. It can be floated or anchored (though it has no true roots) and is highly valued for absorbing excess nutrients, helping control algae, and providing excellent cover for fry and shrimp. It grows rapidly under good lighting and doesn’t require substrate.
