Halloween Hermit Crab (Ciliopagurus strigatus)
The Halloween Hermit Crab is a striking and unique species, named for its colorful orange and black banded legs that resemble Halloween decorations. A peaceful and hardy species, it is a great addition to reef tanks as it helps with algae control and substrate cleaning. This hermit crab prefers to live in a variety of empty shells and may be found scavenging for food. It is non-aggressive and can be kept with other invertebrates and peaceful fish.
