Green Severum (Heros efasciatus)
The Green Severum is a beautiful, semi-aggressive cichlid admired for its vivid greenish-gold hue and graceful swimming style. Often considered one of the more peaceful members of the cichlid family, it makes a stunning centerpiece fish in larger freshwater aquariums. With the right care and tankmates, Green Severums can become personable and even recognize their caretakers.

Diet: Omnivore – enjoys high-quality pellets, flakes, blanched vegetables (like spinach and zucchini), and occasional frozen/live foods like bloodworms or brine shrimp.
Temperament: Semi-aggressive – can be kept with other peaceful-to-moderate cichlids and large community fish.
Water Parameters: 74–84°F, pH 6.0–7.5, soft to moderately hard water
