Copperband Butterfly (Chelmon rostratus)
Recognizable by its long snout and vertical orange bands, the Copperband Butterfly is a graceful but delicate species. While useful for controlling aiptasia, it is very sensitive to diet and tank stability, and not always reef-safe.
Size: Up to 8 inches (20 cm)
Tank Size: Minimum 75 gallons
Care Level: Difficult – picky eater, sensitive to stress
Diet: Carnivore – live blackworms, mysis, frozen foods, sponges
Aggression Level: Peaceful – can be shy, especially around aggressive fish
